Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit Roadshow

It was an honor to be invited by the Consulate General of San Francisco consulate of India to participate in the 2024 Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit ("VGGS") Roadshow session. It took place in Seattle Marriott Bellevue.

It was led by Mr. J.P. Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary of Finance (Gujarat ), with his delegation from India, moderated by Mr. Debadutta Dash.

We discussed the need for state agreements and treaties to open up the pipelines of ease of doing business between the two nations and speed up the process.

We honored the Mayor of Bellevue with the Shawl of Dignity during the event on the stage.

The one-on-one special session occurred with the India USA Partnership Foundation (the "IUP") Founders (Sangeeta C. Dua (President), Rajesh Patel (Chairman), and Chair of Business Executive Council, Atul Hirpara, Seattle).

The India USA Partnership Foundation had a special one-on-one meeting with visiting delegates from Gujarat State, India, to learn how India's government is proactively taking advantage of global initiatives due to geopolitical changes and emerging economies.

Mr. J. P. Gupta explained what is being done from the Gov side to promote investments in their states. VGGS is a great initiative that can be reinforced with this evolving new orientation.

It was a pleasure to meet and have discussions with Mr. Gupta and his esteemed delegation members, including Ambili Sudhakaran, Varang Trivedi, CFA, as well as the Greater Seattle area leaders, including the Mayor of Bellevue Lyenn Robinson, Josh Davis, PSLO Greater Seattle Partners, Joe Fain Bellevue Chamber, Bala about GIFT City and NSE International Exchange (NSE IX), Tony Au and Bryan during networking hours.

We also got connected with Seattle Indian diaspora members. We were introduced by Atul Hirpara, Mr. Haresh Ved, Badri Narayanan, Nishant Singh, Vrajlal Mariya, Neha N., Raj Shah, Sital Kalantry, Sunil Shah, and many others.

It was a short trip, but vibrant Colors of Fall and the hospitality city of Bellevue, the consulate office, Mr. Dash, and Atul were genuinely welcoming and worthwhile.
