The Non-profit represents the India USA Partnership™️ Foundation, Bharat USA Foundation™️, collectively known as (the “IUP”).

 

I want to make a t-shirt/hat/sticker with the IUP logos. Do I need to fill out the permission request form?

As long as you’re making the items for yourself, you do not need to seek permission, but you do need to abide by the brand guidelines. See the Terms and conditions. However, if you’re planning on distributing the items – even for free – permission is required.

 

We love the INDUS Conference™️ logo, why do you request that we use the more recent logo when representing the IUP?

While the INDUS Conference has been associated with the India USA Partnership™️ & Bharat USA Foundation™️, non-profit from inception in April, 2022. it’s actually designed to represent all the IUP’s and not just INDUS Conference™️. The current IUP logos are the official brand for the IUP non-profit and we ask that you use that to avoid confusion and maintain consistency throughout the community. I’m giving a presentation that relates to IUP and want to include the logo on my slides. Do I need to fill out the permission request form?

No, as long as you abide by the logo guidelines, you’re welcome to use the logo in your presentation.

 

My new product is based on the IUP logos and I want to include the IUP logos as part of the product name. Do I need to fill out the permission request form?

We do not allow the India USA Partnership™️ or Bharat USA Foundation™️ trademark to be used as part of a product or company name.

 

I’m a huge India USA Partnership™️ fan and want to include the India USA Partnership™️ logo on my personal website. Do I need to fill out the permission request form?

No, as long as you abide by the brand guidelines, you’re welcome to add the logo to your personal website to promote India USA Partnership™️ or Bharat USA Foundation™️.

 

I’m writing a book on India USA Partnership™️ or Bharat USA Foundation™️, do I need I need to fill out the permission request form to use the logo or marks?

Yes, if you plan to use one or more logos as part of the title or otherwise on the cover of the book.
